Video game developers announce release dates for new horror titles
Several video game developers have announced upcoming release dates and platform availability for new horror and survival titles.
Stormind Games confirmed that Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, the final chapter in its survival horror trilogy, will launch on October 27, 2026. The game, set near Mount Etna in Sicily, features a protagonist named Susan searching for her missing daughter. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The title features a soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka.
PikPok announced that Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days is scheduled to release its version 1.0 in March 2027. Set in 1980s Texas, the zombie survival game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and GeForce NOW.
Additionally, Kwalee and The Wild Gentlemen revealed that RetroSpace, a disco-punk space horror FPS, will be released on October 1, 2026. The game follows a janitor on the Aurora 5 space station and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
