Stéphane Blancafort confirms departure from ‘Ici tout commence’

Actor Stéphane Blancafort has officially confirmed his departure from the TF1 daily series ‘Ici tout commence’. After weeks of speculation, the actor confirmed his exit via social media, stating, ‘To me, yes,’ in response to inquiries about his future in the show.

Blancafort has portrayed the character Marc Leroy for over three years. His departure follows an altercation on July 17 involving co-star Catherine Davydzenka. While TF1 previously removed the actor from the set as a ‘precautionary measure,’ the network had not officially announced a permanent departure until now.

Because episodes are filmed well in advance, the character of Marc Leroy will continue to appear on screen for a period as existing footage is broadcast. Blancafort is set to appear in a new six-episode thriller titled ‘Sans retour’ directed by Julien Seri.
