STPT introduces electric transport to Giroc and Chișoda

Societatea de Transport Public Timișoara (STPT) has announced that metropolitan public transport services to Giroc and Chișoda will transition to modern electric vehicles starting tomorrow.

The updated service includes routes M32, connecting Piața Mocioni in Timișoara to Primăverii in Chișoda and Goya in Giroc, and route M3, connecting the Student Complex in Timișoara to Goya in Giroc. Tickets are priced at 5 lei and are valid for 60 minutes, allowing for transfers within that timeframe.

Passengers can purchase tickets at STPT kiosks in Timișoara, or at designated locations in Giroc and Chișoda. Payment options include contactless bank cards on board, SMS, and mobile applications. Residents eligible for free travel through the Giroc Commune must load their titles onto a transport card at designated STPT or local municipal points.
