Strabag and Porr rank among top 100 global construction firms

According to a Deloitte ranking, Austrian construction companies Strabag and Porr remain among the top 100 largest construction firms globally. Strabag is ranked 21st with a revenue of $21.6 billion, while Porr holds the 52nd position with $7.12 billion in revenue.

The global construction sector saw a slight decline in total revenue, dropping 0.4 percent to $1.972 trillion in 2025. Regional trends varied significantly: while companies in China and the United States experienced revenue decreases, European construction firms saw a revenue increase of approximately 9 percent.

China State Construction Engineering leads the global ranking with $289.69 billion in revenue. The top five positions are held by Chinese firms. Other notable European companies in the top 10 include France’s Vinci and Bouygues, as well as Spain’s Actividades De Construccion Y Servicios.
