Strabag PFS to manage technical operations for seven federal sites in Berlin
Strabag Property and Facility Services has been awarded a contract by the Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) to provide technical facility management for seven federal locations in Berlin. The mandate covers more than 60,000 square meters of space, including offices for the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection, as well as the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
The service includes 24/7 fault management to ensure continuous operational readiness, energy efficiency, and the protection of critical processes. One of the key sites is the building on Stresemannstraße.
In conjunction with these management services, the federal government is undertaking significant infrastructure projects in Berlin. This includes an extension at the Stresemannstraße site to accommodate approximately 1,200 jobs and a major modernization of the Federal Environment Agency’s historic headquarters at Bismarckplatz in Grunewald.
