Strahinja Pavlovic: AC Milan to negotiate contract extension

AC Milan is preparing to initiate contract renewal negotiations with Serbian defender Strahinja Pavlovic to secure his long-term future at the club. While his current deal runs until June 30, 2028, with an option to extend to 2029, the club aims to extend the contract until 2031.

The proposed deal is expected to include a salary increase, potentially raising his annual earnings from approximately 2.5 million euros to around 4 million euros. This move is intended to reward his growth and solidify his role as a central figure in the team's technical project.

Pavlovic has expressed his desire to remain in Milan, stating, “I like being here very much and I feel great in Milan. The renewal? I am happy here and I want to stay.” He also noted the tactical shift under manager Ruben Amorim, observing that the team is playing with a higher line, which requires greater adaptation and coverage of space behind the defense.
