Strakonicko municipal elections show fragmented results

Municipal election results in the Strakonicko region show varying levels of political fragmentation. In Strakonice, the winning group, Strakonická Veřejnost, secured 44.88 percent of the vote and 10 of the 21 available mandates, necessitating coalition negotiations to form a majority.

In Vodňany, the 21 seats in the assembly are divided among seven different candidates, with the top four groups each holding four mandates, making coalition building potentially difficult. In Blatná, the two strongest groups, Živá Blatná and Pro Blatnou, both secured four seats each. Meanwhile, in Volyně, the Sdružení nezávislých kandidátů achieved a clear majority by winning eight of the 15 mandates with 46.55 percent of the vote.
