Strategy and Strive resume Bitcoin purchases to expand corporate treasuries

Strategy has resumed its Bitcoin accumulation strategy after a ten-week hiatus, purchasing 4,603 BTC for approximately $369.7 million. The acquisition, made between August 24 and August 30 at an average price of $80,318 per coin, brings the company's total holdings to 845,050 BTC. The aggregate average cost for its entire Bitcoin treasury is now approximately $75,412 per coin.

To fund this purchase, Strategy utilized its at-the-market equity offering program, selling 4,531,421 shares of Class A common stock to net approximately $602.8 million. The proceeds were distributed across several corporate objectives: $369.7 million for Bitcoin, $151.8 million for repurchasing STRC preferred shares, $50.7 million for STRC dividend payments, and $30 million to increase USD cash reserves. The company reported total USD assets of $6.71 billion, resulting in a0.0% net leverage.

Simultaneously, Strive Asset Management has also expanded its Bitcoin treasury, acquiring 1,800 BTC for roughly $143 million at an average price of $79,431. This purchase, completed between August 24 and August 28, increases Strive's total holdings to 23,156 BTC, positioning the company as the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate holder of Bitcoin.
