Stratos Lake hosts European Junior Water Ski Championship

The European Junior Water Ski Championship (U14 & U17) concluded at Stratos Lake, featuring strong performances from the Greek delegation.

World champion Giannis Kousathanas was a standout performer, securing first place in the U17 boys' jump with a final distance of 54.80 meters after a tie-breaking effort. He also earned second place in the U17 boys' slalom and third place in the U17 boys' triathlon.

Other notable Greek achievements include Electra Doima taking third place in the U14 girls' triathlon and Nikolaos Antonopoulos placing third in the U14 boys' figures. Overall, the Greek team finished fifth in the combined U14 & U17 team standings. Ukraine took first place in the team rankings, followed by Belarus, Austria, and Great Britain.
