Straumann Group reports strong H1 growth and CEO transition

Straumann Group has reported strong financial results for the first half of the year, with revenue reaching 1.38 billion Swiss francs, representing a 2.3% increase. Organic growth accelerated to 7.8% during this period, driven by performance in several key regions. Notably, Latin America saw double-digit growth of 15.4%, while Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as well as North America, both recorded organic growth exceeding 8%.

Despite these gains, the company noted challenges in the Asia-Pacific region, specifically due to the ongoing situation in China. The group's operating profit (EBIT) rose to 351 million Swiss francs, and net profit increased to 251 million Swiss francs, exceeding analyst expectations.

Alongside the financial report, Straumann announced a leadership transition. Long-time CEO Guillaume Daniellot will step down at the end of November. He will be succeeded by Christopher Norbye, effective December 1. Daniellot stated the transition is being made from a position of strength, citing the company's stable financial situation and successful strategy.
