Strava names Brazil its second‑largest global market
Strava has identified Brazil as a top priority, ranking it as the platform’s second‑largest market worldwide. Louisa Wee, Strava’s global director of marketing, said the number of running clubs on the app has multiplied eight‑fold in the past year and that women in Generation Z are the fastest‑growing user segment. While road running remains the main entry point, the company sees expanding opportunities in strength training, Pilates, football and gym classes. About 40 % of Brazilian users now record four or more activity types, a behavior Strava calls “cross‑sport.” The firm plans to tailor product features to support this diverse, highly active audience.
