Strawberry Fields REIT Secures $300 Million Credit Facility, Plans Kansas City Hospital Purchase

Strawberry Fields REIT reported second‑quarter 2026 results showing 100% rent collection, net income of $8.9 million, funds from operations of $20.1 million ($0.36 per share) and adjusted funds from operations of $18.1 million ($0.32 per share). Rental income rose to $40.0 million from $37.9 million a year earlier, and six‑month FFO reached $41.0 million.

The REIT closed a new corporate credit facility providing up to $300 million of borrowing capacity—a $100 million term loan and a $200 million revolving line—intended to refinance existing debt and fund future acquisitions. It also announced a planned purchase of a hospital campus near Kansas City, Missouri, for $10.4 million, which will add $1.04 million of annual base rent under a master lease. The company’s portfolio now includes 142 healthcare facilities across multiple U.S. states.
