Stray dog Fanda rescued in Kutná Hora while turtle saved in Plzeň

A mixed-breed dog named Fanda was found in the Vlastějovice cadastral area and, after consultation with the local mayor, was taken to the animal shelter in Kutná Hora. The dog had no microchip, was vaccinated, microchipped and entered into the Central Dog Registry as the first recorded dog. Shelter staff report that Fanda is adjusting well and is being offered for adoption.

In Plzeň, a land turtle was spotted near a busy road on U Školky street. A passer‑by alerted city police, which transferred the turtle to the municipal animal shelter pending identification of its owner. Separate searches continue for a missing parrot named Neo, whose owner Adam appealed for public help, and for a two‑year‑old cat named Rozárka, reported missing in the Křimice district. Police and owners are seeking assistance from the public to locate the missing pets.
