Stray Kids achieve ninth consecutive Billboard 200 number one

K-pop group Stray Kids has achieved a significant milestone on the Billboard charts, securing their ninth consecutive number one album on the Billboard 200 with their 10th EP, ‘This & That’. This achievement makes them the first artist in the 71-year history of the Billboard 200 to have all nine of their charting albums debut at number one.

In addition to their success on the album chart, the group reached a career-best position on the Billboard Hot 100, with the title track ‘This & That’ debuting at number 38. This streak places Stray Kids among the most successful groups in Billboard history, tying The Rolling Stones for the second-most number one albums among groups in the 21st century, trailing only The Beatles.

The group expressed that the achievement felt like “fate,” as it occurred during their ninth year since debut. Through their agency, JYP Entertainment, the members stated they are honored to reach this milestone and aim to continue showing the growth of K-pop to music fans worldwide.
