Felix of Stray Kids donates 300 million won for charity

Stray Kids member Felix has donated 300 million won (approximately $221,000 USD) to various charitable causes in observance of his birthday on September 15.

According to his agency, JYP Entertainment, the funds are distributed as follows: 100 million won each to Samsung Medical Center for pediatric and adolescent cancer treatment and to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital for supporting vulnerable pediatric patients. Additionally, 50 million won each was allocated to the non-profit Books International for native language picture book production and to the UNICEF Korea Committee for emergency relief following floods in Nepal.

Felix expressed his hope that the donation would provide “warm strength” for children and that their days would be filled with “clear hope instead of worry.”
