Streamer Lacy incurs massive restaurant bill in Tokyo via QR code error

American Twitch streamer Nicholas Fosco, known as Lacy, incurred a restaurant bill totaling approximately 1.6 million yen (roughly 9,100 to 12,000 euros) during a livestream in Tokyo, Japan.

While dining with his partner, influencer Darla Claire, Lacy accidentally displayed the restaurant's table QR code to his viewers. The code, used for digital ordering, allowed spectators to access the establishment's ordering system.

Viewers began placing numerous food and drink orders through the system while the broadcast was live. The streamer did not immediately realize the situation until a waiter approached the table to address the unexpected volume of orders.
