Streamer Westcol causes crowds in Bogotá's El GranSan
Content creator Luis Fernando Villa Álvarez, known as Westcol, caused significant congestion in Bogotá's San Victorino sector during a live stream at the El GranSan wholesale shopping center on October 20, 2026.
The presence of the influencer drew large crowds of followers, making it difficult for security teams to navigate the area and for the streamer to exit the premises. During the event, Westcol reportedly intervened to assist a woman who fell amidst the crowd.
Reports from local media, including La Corona TV, suggest a high-value negotiation took place for the two-hour broadcast. While Westcol reportedly initially requested 300 million pesos, the deal may have been finalized at 260 million pesos after negotiations with local merchants. Neither the streamer nor the shopping center administration has officially confirmed these figures.
