Streaming and cable industries undergo shifts in service offerings and availability

The television landscape continues to shift as traditional cable services face changes and streaming platforms expand their offerings. Hulu provides live TV packages that include the Disney Bundle, featuring over 95 live channels, unlimited cloud DVR storage, and access to Disney+ and ESPN+. These plans are available in both ad-supported and ad-free versions, starting at $89.99 per month.

In Hawaii, Spectrum Sports Hawaii has permanently shut down following a new multiyear agreement between the University of Hawaii and Hawaii News Now. This move shifts local athletic coverage, including football and basketball, to free over-the-air broadcasts on K5 and a dedicated streaming channel.

Additionally, Roku has expanded its free content on The Roku Channel by adding six new channels, including WWE-focused content, independent films via Cindietv, and news through Real American Voice.
