Streaming platforms announce major September 2026 content releases

Streaming platforms are launching a diverse array of new content throughout September 2026.

Netflix features several high-profile releases, including the second season of Guy Ritchie’s crime series ‘The Gentlemen’, a new installment of the ‘Monster’ anthology focusing on Lizzie Borden, and the documentary ‘Fito Páez: El mundo cabe en una canción’. Other notable titles include ‘Why Did I Get Married Again?’ and various true crime and romantic productions.

Disney+ is set to debut ‘Toy Story 5’ on September 23 and ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ on September 2. Paramount+ is offering ‘Scary Movie 6’ and the comedy series ‘The Varnell Hill Show’. SkyShowtime is introducing ‘Aces: The ATP No. 1 Club’, a documentary on tennis icons, and the series ‘M.I.A.’.

Other services such as HBO Max, Prime Video, and Apple TV+ are also updating their catalogs with titles ranging from the DC series ‘Lanterns’ to the science fiction series ‘Dark Matter’ and the thriller ‘The Whisper Man’. The month's programming spans multiple genres, including horror, documentary, action, and historical drama.
