Apple TV+ has announced the renewal of its acclaimed spy thriller series, Slow Horses, for an eighth season. This announcement comes just ahead of the premiere of season six, which is scheduled to debut on September 16, 2026. The series, starring Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, has already secured a seventh season, ensuring several more years of production.

Season six will consist of six episodes and will adapt two novels from Mick Herron’s Slough House series: ‘Joe Country’ and ‘Slough House’. The plot involves a series of mysterious deaths targeting former MI5 agents and a conspiracy that leaves the Slough House team effectively erased from official agency records.

The newly ordered eighth season will adapt the ninth novel in the series, ‘Clown Town’. It is expected to feature a major confrontation between Jackson Lamb and Diana Taverner, following a failed blackmail attempt against the Park.
