Streaming platforms release new crime thrillers

Recent streaming releases include the crime thriller ‘In Cold Light’ (Na Frieza da Realidade) on Prime Video and the suspense miniseries ‘Trust Me’ (Confie em Mim) on Netflix.

Directed by Maxime Giroux, ‘In Cold Light’ follows Ava Bly, a young woman returning to her hometown of Ponoka, Alberta, after two years in prison. Following the brutal murder of her twin brother, she becomes the primary suspect of a corrupt detective, forcing her into a struggle for survival and innocence.

Netflix’s ‘Trust Me’, based on a novel by Harlan Coben, is a six-episode series centered on a family’s growing paranoia. After using a spy app to monitor their son following a classmate's suicide, parents Anna and Michael Barczyk uncover suspicious communications that lead to a murder investigation and widespread suspicion among local families.
