Streaming services announce September content lineups

Streaming platforms Movistar Plus and Netflix have announced their upcoming content lineups for September, featuring a variety of films, series, and documentaries.

Movistar Plus will focus on cinematic releases, including the action film ‘Este amor sí que duele’ starring Ke Huy Quan and Ariana DeBose on September 2, and ‘Novocaine’ starring Jack Quaid on September 4. The platform also plans to release ‘The Brutalist’, a film directed by Brady Corbet regarding a Holocaust survivor.

Netflix is scheduled to release several high-profile titles, including the fourth season of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series ‘Monstruo: la historia de Lizzie Borden’ on September 17. Other notable Spanish-language content includes the series ‘El problema final’ starring José Coronado, arriving on September 25. The platform's September schedule also includes various documentaries and sports-related content.
