Street Fighter film promotional tour reaches Times Square and Mexico City
Promotional activities for the upcoming live-action film ‘Street Fighter’, produced by Paramount Pictures and Legendary Entertainment, have expanded to New York and Mexico City. In Times Square, a massive scale arcade installation was set up, featuring a transparent glass container where martial artists performed combat sequences mimicking characters like Ryu and Ken. The structure included oversized buttons and a red joystick to evoke 1990s nostalgia.
In Mexico City, the film's cast participated in a promotional tour that included a fan event and a red carpet presentation. Director Kitao Sakurai shared footage of the cast, including Cody Rhodes and Callina Liang, dining at a local taquería in the Condesa neighborhood. The film, which follows the rivalry between Ryu and Ken Masters set in 1993, is scheduled for release in mid-October 2026.
