Street Fighter film set for digital release on December 1
The Street Fighter live-action film, which premiered in theaters on October 16, 2026, is scheduled for a digital VOD release on December 1, 2026. The movie will be available for purchase or rental on platforms including Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the film features a cast including Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, Andrew Koji as Ryu, and Callina Liang as Chun-Li. The plot follows the two estranged fighters as they are recruited by Chun-Li for the World Warrior Tournament, only to face a deadly conspiracy.
This production marks the third live-action feature-length adaptation of the Capcom video game franchise. While the film's release coincides with renewed interest in the franchise, Capcom has reported significant growth in its competitive esports scene, noting that its world championship tournament recently drew a record 20,000 attendees.
