Street Fighter film trailer teases Ryu vs. Ken rivalry

Paramount and Legendary Pictures are preparing for the theatrical release of a new ‘Street Fighter’ film based on the Capcom franchise. A recent trailer has teased a potential confrontation between the central characters Ryu, played by Andrew Koji, and Ken Masters, played by Noah Centineo.

Set in 1993, the plot follows the two fighters as they are recruited by Chun-Li, portrayed by Callina Liang, for the World Warrior Tournament. The story involves a deadly conspiracy that forces the characters to confront their pasts. The ensemble cast includes Jason Momoa as Blanka, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, and WWE stars Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns as Guile and Akuma, respectively.

Actress Callina Liang has detailed the intense physical preparation required for her role as Chun-Li. To achieve the character's signature physique, Liang engaged in two hours of daily martial arts training, including Taekwondo, Muay Thai, and Wushu. Her regimen also included a strict dietary plan involving eating every two hours and consuming up to 12 eggs per day to build muscle mass.
