Street Fighter movie trailer debuts ahead of October 2026 release

Paramount Pictures and Legendary Entertainment have launched a global promotional tour for the upcoming 'Street Fighter' film, which is scheduled for theatrical release on October 16, 2026. The campaign included a major trailer launch at the Shinjuku Yunika Vision screens in Tokyo, Japan.

Set in 1993, the film follows estranged fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) as they are recruited by Chun-Li (Callina Liang) for the World Warrior Tournament. The plot involves a deadly conspiracy that forces the protagonists to confront their pasts.

In a digital innovation, the studios debuted a playable full-length movie trailer on YouTube. The film features an ensemble cast including Jason Momoa, Joe 'Roman Reigns' Anoa’i, and David Dastmalchian. In India, the movie will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
