Street food festivals scheduled for Gütersloh and Schiefbahn

Several street food festivals are scheduled to take place in Germany during August 2026.

In Gütersloh, the CHEATDAY Streetfood Festival will return to the Marktplatz from August 21 to 23. The event features a variety of culinary offerings, including potato waffles, chicken specialties, currywurst, burgers, fried sushi, and lángos. The festival includes musical entertainment, such as a DJ on Friday and live music on Saturday, with free admission for all visitors.

In Schiefbahn, the “Streetfood Schiefbahn” festival, organized by Wellfairs in cooperation with the city of Willich, will run from August 28 to 30. Located around the St. Hubertus Church, the event will offer international specialties such as tacos, köfte, and truffle pasta, alongside cocktails and coffee. Admission is free, and the festival will include a shopping Sunday where local retailers remain open.
