Street food festivals scheduled for Maricá and Niterói

Various street food festivals are scheduled to take place in the Rio de Janeiro metropolitan area.

In Maricá, the 39th edition of the Feira Nacional do Podrão will be held at Boulevard Maricá from September 11 to 13. The free event features oversized food items, including a 2 kg coxinha and a 1.20 m hot dog. The festival will include musical performances of pop rock, pagode, and samba, as well as a dedicated children's area with inflatable toys.

In Niterói, the second edition of the Comida Di Rua festival will take place at the Mercado Municipal de Niterói from September 4 to 7. The event offers free entry and highlights large-scale food items such as 1 kg hamburgers, giant coxinhas, and churros towers.
