Street Parade: Zürich hosts world's largest techno party
The Street Parade, considered the world's largest techno party, took place in Zürich under heightened security. Hundreds of thousands of participants gathered in hot weather to celebrate under the motto "Together we move."
Security forces maintained increased vigilance following a recent Islamist attack during the Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Berlin. Authorities had been conducting continuous assessments to adapt to the current situation, utilizing existing safety measures such as vehicle barriers.
The festival featured 9 stages and 30 mobile music trucks. While entry to the parade was free, attendees paid for services, including 9.50 Swiss francs for a half-liter of canned beer and 10 francs for unlimited restroom access.
