Street vendor in Dak Lak gains viral popularity for beef tendon dish

Nguyen Van Dung, a 29-year-old resident of Ea Ktur, Dak Lak, has become a social media sensation after videos of him selling prepared beef tendon on his motorbike garnered nearly 8 million views.

Dung began selling the specialty dish approximately two months ago to generate income following a period of medical treatment. His simple videos, often featuring him traveling on an old motorbike with a small loudspeaker to advertise his goods, have led to large crowds of customers waiting to purchase the food and take photos with him.

In response to high demand and requests from social media followers, Dung has expanded his sales locations to include Krong Pac, Buon Ma Thuot, and Ea Kao. To prepare his products, he begins his work early in the morning to source beef skin and intestines.
