Strike Energy increases Walyering gas reserves after new discovery

Strike Energy has increased its 2P sales gas reserves at the Walyering field in Western Australia to 16.4 petajoules. This increase follows the discovery of the Walyering West accumulation.

Independent consultant RISC Advisory assessed the reserves as of July 1, 2026. The 2P reserves rose from 13.6 petajoules the previous year, despite accounting for 5.7 petajoules of production during the 2026 financial year. Additionally, 2C contingent resources have risen to 26.5 petajoules.

Strike Energy is currently progressing Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) to tie the Walyering West 1 accumulation into the existing Walyering processing facility. A final investment decision is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
