Strive CEO predicts Bitcoin could exceed $500,000 amid dollar devaluation
Matt Cole, CEO of Strive, has projected that Bitcoin could surpass $500,000 within the next four to five years. In recent interviews, Cole emphasized that this potential surge is driven primarily by the declining purchasing power of the US dollar rather than just Bitcoin's intrinsic price action.
Cole noted that the devaluation of the dollar may accelerate over the next few years compared to the previous 15 years. He suggested that as the dollar loses value, scarce assets such as Bitcoin, gold, and silver will undergo significant revaluation. While acknowledging that the next year might be difficult, he views these assets as essential tools for preserving wealth against inflation.
Addressing US fiscal concerns, Cole highlighted the nation's $40 trillion debt burden. He predicted that 10-year Treasury yields could rise to between 5.25% and 5.75% within a year, potentially forcing Treasury Department intervention that could mirror quantitative easing. He advised that while the US government is likely to repay its debts, the real risk lies in the diminished purchasing power of the dollars returned to creditors.
