STRiX and Pedro Bianchi Prata develop electric motorcycle for Dakar 2027

Pedro Bianchi Prata and STRiX are intensifying the development of an electric rally motorcycle prototype in preparation for the 2027 Dakar Rally. The project aims to compete in the Mission 1000 category.

Testing has progressed through increasingly demanding scenarios, including technical tracks, sand, high temperatures, and long-duration sessions. These tests focus on critical engineering aspects such as energy management, reliability, cooling, software, and overall balance, rather than just battery range.

A key component of the development process is the direct collaboration between Bianchi Prata, his technical team, and STRiX engineers. During testing sessions in Portugal, engineers work alongside the rider to analyze real-world performance and implement practical improvements in near real-time.
