Stromboli hosts third stage of Eolie Running Tour

The third stage of the 24th Eolie Running Tour took place in Stromboli, featuring a challenging 6.5 km circuit characterized by steep climbs and intense heat. Antonino Lollo, representing Gruppo Alpinistico Vertovese, won the men's race with a time of 20:53, followed by Federico Casadei in second place.

In the women's category, Valerie Woodland of Atletica Villafranca secured victory with a time of 27:30, leading Patrizia Garbujo of Hrobert Running Team.

The event, promoted by Polisportiva Europa, is part of a five-stage series across the Aeolian archipelago. The remaining stages are scheduled for Salina, featuring an 8.2 km race, and Vulcano, which will host the final 6.8 km stage.
