Struer & Omegns Motor Sport wins gold and silver in car orienteering

Struer & Omegns Motor Sport achieved significant success at the conclusion of the Danish Championship in car orienteering. Hosting the fifth and final round of the season, the club secured both gold and silver medals for its crews.

The competition featured four classes with routes ranging from 50 to 65 kilometers. Participants traveled through areas including Fousing, Klosterheden, and Fabjerg, eventually concluding in Rom. Race leader Poul Bo Madsen noted that the event benefited from favorable dry weather and strong cooperation from local landowners, which allowed access to private gravel and forest roads essential for the competition.
