Struga business owner and firm charged with tax evasion

The Financial Police Administration has filed a criminal complaint with the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Struga against an individual, identified as B. Z., and a legal entity for suspected tax evasion.

According to the administration, B. Z., acting as the owner and manager of the company, failed to report expired and unpaid obligations totaling 30,946,170 denars as income in the 2025 gross balance. This omission resulted in an unpaid profit tax of 3,094,617 denars.

Additionally, the investigation found that loans to individuals amounting to 14,254,665 denars were not recorded as unrecognized expenses for tax purposes. This failure led to an additional unpaid profit tax of 1,425,467 denars. The total estimated damage to the budget of the Republic of North Macedonia is 4,520,084 denars.
