Petar Jankov, the Mayor of Strumica, marked one year in office by highlighting a series of infrastructure and developmental changes within the municipality. According to VMRO-DPMNE, the administration has focused on addressing long-standing financial debts, analyzing the municipality's status, and prioritizing essential projects.

Key developments in Strumica include the construction of a new filter station in Bansko, the creation of bicycle paths, and the development of a 14,000 m² park.
