Stryków hosts conference on domestic violence prevention

A conference focused on combating domestic violence was held in Stryków, located in the Łódź Voivodeship. The event, titled “Przeciwdziałanie Przemocy Domowej – #MOCnoPOMOCni przeciw przemocy!”, was organized by the Stryków Municipal Social Welfare Center (MGOPS) and the Interdisciplinary Team for Domestic Violence in the Stryków Commune.

Participants included representatives from law enforcement, schools, healthcare providers, judicial and family curators, and local government officials, including Mayor Piotr Ślęzak. The discussions centered on improving crisis response, recognizing the mechanisms of violence, and identifying signs of abuse against children. Experts emphasized that effective assistance requires seamless cooperation and the exchange of knowledge between various institutions to ensure rapid and appropriate reactions to domestic violence situations.
