Stryper releases 18th studio album ‘Throne of Thorns’

Christian metal band Stryper has released their 18th studio album, titled ‘Throne of Thorns’, via Frontiers Music Srl. The release is accompanied by a new single, ‘Shadowbreaker’, which features an official visualizer.

Lead vocalist Michael Sweet described ‘Shadowbreaker’ as a heavy track that represents the band’s current sound in 2026. The album is characterized by grand arrangements, guitar harmonies, and anthemic choruses. Following the release, the band is scheduled to embark on a tour across the United States starting this fall, with dates spanning from late September through December.
