Stryper releases new single 'Ashes To Roses' ahead of 'Throne of Thorns' album

Christian metal band Stryper unveiled the single “Ashes To Roses,” accompanied by an official lyric video. The track is taken from their upcoming 18th studio album, Throne of Thorns, which is slated for release on 25 September 2026 through Frontiers Music Srl. Lead vocalist and guitarist Michael Sweet said the song has a “throwback/classic rock vibe” and aims to deliver a melodic rock ballad for fans. The band’s lineup for the release includes Michael Sweet, drummer Robert Sweet, guitarist Oz Fox and bassist Perry Richardson. Sweet also posted on Facebook that a new video would arrive the following day, highlighting the song’s memorable guitar work and classic‑rock feel.
