STU48 holds release event for 14th single in Tokyo

The idol group STU48 held a release event at LaLaport Toyosu in Tokyo on September 13 to celebrate their upcoming 14th single, ‘Fuyufuku ni Kigae tara’ (If I Change into Winter Clothes), scheduled for release on October 7.

Approximately 800 fans attended the event, where 16 selected members performed the title track for the first time. The single marks a significant milestone for first-generation member Cocoa Kai, who returned to STU48 in March after a two-year period with KLP48 in Malaysia, and is serving as the center for the title track for the first time.

During the performance, members including Ayara Yoshida and Sayaka Shimada discussed the new song's themes of seasonal transition and youthful romance. The group also performed several other tracks, including ‘Kurayami’ and ‘Yume Chikara’. Future release events are scheduled to take place in Kagawa, Hiroshima, Okayama, Hyogo, and Fukuoka.
