In a recent episode, Kaley Cuoco returned as Penny, appearing in a storyline where the characters face a military tribunal in Pasadena. The episode features high-concept elements, including the accidental transformation of Penny into a centaur following a quantum entanglement device activation. Cuoco noted in an interview that the production scale of the episode felt comparable to filming a ‘Transformers’ movie. The actress revealed that her involvement in the spin-off began three years ago when creator Chuck Lorre reached out to her regarding the possibility of revisiting the character.
