HBO Max renews ‘Stuart Fails to Save the Universe’ for Season 2

HBO Max has officially renewed the The Big Bang Theory spin-off, ‘Stuart Fails to Save the Universe’, for a second season. The renewal comes early in the first season's run, with only four of the ten scheduled episodes having aired. The series has become the platform's second-largest comedy launch globally.

Starring Kevin Sussman as Stuart Bloom, the comedy follows the comic book store owner as he attempts to repair reality after accidentally triggering a multiverse Armageddon by breaking a device built by Sheldon and Leonard. The show features a multiverse premise that allows for guest appearances from original cast members, including Kunal Nayyar, Kaley Cuoco, Melissa Rauch, and Mayim Bialik.

Created by Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady, and Zak Penn, the series has received critical acclaim and a ‘Certified Fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Executives from HBO and Warner Bros. Television expressed enthusiasm for the show's ability to connect with both longtime franchise devotees and new viewers.
