Argentina prepares for Student and Spring Day festivities

Various regions across Argentina are preparing for Student Day and Spring Day celebrations through a diverse array of cultural, musical, and sporting events.

In Tucumán, the 66th edition of Septiembre Musical features the ‘Primavera en San Javier’ event at the Cristo Bendicente Tourist Complex, offering free live music from local artists. In Mendoza, the Mood Primavera festival in Guaymallén will feature Pasado Verde performing with the Mendoza Philharmonic Orchestra. Other regional activities include cycling competitions in San Martín and student festivities in Pergamino and Córdoba.

Security and community engagement are also central to the celebrations. In Neuquén, police have deployed a flexible security operation to monitor student gatherings. Meanwhile, some local sectors, such as clubs in El Carrizal, report lower-than-expected commercial reservations for the holiday period.
