Student dies during school program in Hévíz

An 18-year-old female student from the Central Hungary Agricultural Vocational Training Center (KMASZC) died during a school program in Hévíz early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at a hotel while the student was part of a graduating class program.

Emergency services arrived at the scene and performed advanced resuscitation efforts, but despite multiple interventions by paramedics, the student passed away. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food expressed its condolences to the family, classmates, and teachers, stating it would provide all necessary support to the affected institution.

The Keszthely Police Station is conducting an administrative investigation into the circumstances of the death. Authorities stated that there is currently no suspicion of suicide or foul play, though no further details will be released out of respect for the deceased.
