Student in Seremban undergoes emergency surgery following suspected bullying

A 16-year-old male student at a boarding school in Seremban underwent emergency surgery after his spleen ruptured, an injury believed to be the result of a bullying incident in August. The victim lost approximately 2.5 liters of blood, leading doctors to remove his spleen to save his life. The student's father, Hisyam, reported that the boy initially claimed he had fallen from his bed, but later revealed he had been beaten by several students.

In a related context regarding student tragedies in Yong Peng, Johor, Dr. Masliha Harun, Chairperson of the Professional Women's Secretariat, expressed concern over recent incidents involving students. She emphasized that adolescence is a challenging phase of identity formation and emotional instability, requiring continuous guidance from parents, teachers, and the community to prevent such tragedies.
