Student Semih Süheyb Han Takes Turkey’s Second Place in Quran Recital

The Ministry of National Education’s Religious Education Directorate organized the Din, Ahlak ve Değer Alanı Seçmeli Dersler Yarışmaları Turkey Final in Ankara. In the male high‑school category, Semih Süheyb Han, a student at Ağrı Ömer Çoktin Fen Lisesi, achieved second place for his beautiful recitation of the Qur'an.

After the competition, provincial education director Abdulhaluk Çakan received Semih at his office, congratulated him and presented several gifts. Çakan said the achievement reflects “discipline, strong guidance and family support” and called it a source of great pride for the province. Semih thanked the director, his teachers and his family for their support and pledged to continue striving for future successes.
