Student Teodora Drinjak transfers to Banja Luka after Sarajevo disciplinary action

Teodora Drinjak, a third-year geodesy and geoinformatics student, has transferred from the University of Sarajevo to the University of Banja Luka to continue her studies. Her departure from the Sarajevo Faculty of Civil Engineering follows the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against her regarding a song posted on her social media account, which authorities alleged glorified convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić.

Drinjak denied glorifying Mladić and stated she felt forced to leave the University of Sarajevo due to what she described as nationalistic harassment. She expressed gratitude to SNSD organizational secretary Igor Dodik and Member of Parliament Aca Stanišić for providing her with support and accommodation in a student dormitory in Banja Luka, noting that their assistance allowed her to continue her education during a difficult period.
