Student stabbed in the head on a West Jakarta street

On Monday, 27 July 2026, a 16‑year‑old student, Davi Sepriansah, was attacked with a long‑handled blade and suffered a head wound while walking along Jalan Kali Sekretaris near SMP 101 Kemanggisan in the Palmerah district of West Jakarta. According to the victim, four attackers on two motorbikes approached, one of them brandishing the weapon before stabbing his head. The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack. Police are investigating and have identified the perpetrators as likely fellow students, noting that they were wearing jackets, masks and one was wearing school trousers.
