Students and children in Poland engage in space and robotics education
Educational initiatives in Poland are fostering interest in space exploration and technology among youth. In Jasło, the Municipal Public Library is hosting the “ZakodujMY Wszechświat!” (Code the Universe!) workshop series for students in grades 4–6. Using Photon educational robots, participants learn programming and logic by simulating cosmic rover missions.
Separately, the AstroCrew team from the Jan Długosz High School is participating in the European Space Agency (ESA) CanSat competition. The students are tasked with designing and building a miniature satellite to collect and transmit sensor data. Beyond the competition, the team is actively promoting science through an educational program consisting of lectures and meetings for younger primary school students.
